workshop 1: The magnification of the Galilean telescope (guided by French students) (Terrace)

workshop 2: The Universe in powers of ten (guided by 10 Italian students 2H) (Astronomy laboratory)
20 participants: Athens (1), Birmingham (4), Lyon (2), Amsterdam (7), Oradea (2)
workshop 3: Triangulation and navigation (Athens) (Gardens in Viale Mazzini or school court)

10:30 – 12:00 Comenius teachers visit the Astronomical Observatory and Museum of Rome (dr.ssa Calisi) (or: demonstration against the closure of the Observatory, if we are not allowed to visit it!)

14:00 - 16:00 Visit an exhibition of the painter Caravaggio at Scuderie del Quirinale
Afternoon: Free to visit Rome

20:00 Dinner for Comenius teachers in the restaurant “Maccheroni”, Piazza delle Coppelle, 44 (near Pantheon)

Tour by private car.Vocal and instrumental concert celebrate the transit of the sun: Graziella Antonucci (Voce) Marco Quintiliani (Chitarra) and Pino Caronia (Viola).
